Aight, to begin with, I am not sure if I should stay here, in this whole art community. Sure, there are many positives like comments, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, friends, faves, watches, giftart and so forth, the things that keeps us here. However, I'd hate to face the other, more-on-the-negative-side issues, namely artblock, people being annoying, feeling that you're art is never good enough..etcetera. I don't really like where this 'community' is heading towards, with so many people complaining about thieves and influences - the sort that I do not wish to be involved with, and it becomes much worse if it concerns you or your friend[s], a dilemma of either seeming cold uncaring, or being stuck in the middle of a conflict. Especially after the unintentional attraction of a certain artist's attention to one of my pieces, though I did give credit, the last thing I want to be like are those that she accused me of being. I do not want to pretend to be supportive and listen to whiny little kids complaining any longer, all because someone had apparently stolen their character's eye colour. I don't want to see those kids drawing off idolized art like clones and argh..so much of the DA vs SA thing going on. Sometimes, I just felt like I was drawing/uploading to please my audience, especially with giftarts.
But yes, I do miss my friends, I still want to see what cool new pieces they've been coming up with during my absence. But now DA's been overrun by a buncha lil kiddies. Don't forget how this whole community's now more of a popularity contest than anything else..

Too busy and cannot be as productive art-wise. I'm not planning to make a living with art either. I know I've still got ages to go until university, but I still need to do well at school at the moment. If I really want to get somewhere and make progress, I'd have to make sacrifices and I say school > doodling. Even with pictures exceeding 1k views and everything else...In the long run, they're only pixels. I cannot even paint with a brush.


Ok. Confession. The "fight" with Saz-kun was made up if [link] rings a bell. We were discussing it over MSN..Even the journal entries ie) "OMG U R SOO DEAD FOR STEALING MI PIC!11!!!" were written together...lololol? I was the one that came up with the name "Hayfever" >_> Some people took us too seriously which was why we had to stop and 'make up' the next morning, though the whole thing was fake. I probably deserve to be flamed for this. We were bored. Ahh such drama. Twas more of a protest against DA's definition of "Art Thieving".


Friends. They have awesome deviations and deserve more publicity. . . .
